How do I create online flash cards for a Dex?
1. Select your textbook in the ‘Step 1: Load Your Textbook’ box
2. Select the chapters you wish to study from the ‘Step 2: Select Chapters’ box.
3. The chapters you selected should load in the ‘Step 3: Customize a Dex’ box.
4. Click on ‘Online Flash Cards’ in the ‘Step 4: Study Applications’ box. The flashcard window should appear with the terms from the chapters you have chosen in the ‘Step 3: Customize a Dex’ box.- An alternative is to right-click on a chapter in either the ‘Step 2: Select Chapters’ box or the ‘Step 3: Customize a Dex’ box.

What is the difference between the Shuffle button and the Shuffle All button?
The ‘Shuffle’ button will only shuffle the words within a particular chapter.
The ‘Shuffle All’ button will shuffle the words from all chapters. -
What does the Remove Card button do?
The ‘Remove Card’ button will only stop the current card from showing up during the current study session; it does not permanently remove the card.

Is there a way to restore just one card?
Since the cards you have removed are not permanently removed, the ‘Restore All Cards’ button will restore all of the cards you have removed.

Can I see the definition first?
Of course, all you have to do is click on ‘Start On Definition’ located at the bottom right hand corner of your flash card.

Is there a way to have the term and definition on the same side?
Absolutely, on the bottom left hand corner of your flash card, you will see the option to ‘Show on the Same Side’

Do I have to be online to use the flashcards?
Yes, LexDex flashcards are available anywhere you have a computer and internet connection as well as on your phone. LexDex Mobile Flashcards can be downloaded to your phone so you can study anytime, anywhere.
Okay not anywhere, we really don’t recommend it in the shower, our trial-runs with that have been… interesting.
